Cash and property linked to infamous ‘Ferrari Fugitives’ brothers seized by CAB
Cash and property linked to one of the world’s biggest boiler room scams run by the so-called ‘Ferrari Fugitives’ has been seized by the Criminal Assets Bureau.
The infamous Cartu brothers, who are wanted by US authorities, ran a bogus investors scheme that netted €186m.
The cash paid by victims mostly from the United States was then laundered through Irish-registered firms.
